World-Class Research Facility

The RISE Center is also a place for education. Visitors to the RISE Center get hands-on experience with Siplast products, attend accredited technical presentations, and interact with subject matter experts and scientists at the forefront of roofing, waterproofing, and building enclosure technology.

RISE Product Testing Facility

In 2024, Siplast opened a second RISE Center, the RISE Product Testing Facility, in Gum Springs, Arkansas. This facility focuses on testing roofing and waterproofing products against storm conditions. It features advanced wind uplift testing equipment, a hail cannon, and other state-of-the-art testing equipment.

Half a century ago, Siplast developed and introduced SBS-modified bitumen for roofing and waterproofing. Since then, our innovation milestones include depolluting roof membranes that help neutralize nitrogen oxides – irritating gases that are harmful to health - and the development of roofs equipped with RFID technology for advanced asset management.

Visitors to the RISE Center receive more than just a plant tour. Participants are immersed in accredited technical information, hands-on demonstrations, and tours of our manufacturing facility and RISE Center's state-of-the-art laboratory. With hands on training and live demonstrations, it's an opportunity to become immersed in roofing science and gain valuable knowledge on Siplast systems.

Just had a phenomenal week in the most unlikely of places…Arkadelphia, Arkansas!

What on earth, might you ask, was in Arkadelphia that has me all fired up? Let me tell ya...

This week I had the chance to attend the Siplast RISE Summit…and it was awesome. It was a phenomenal group of people, consisting of Siplast employees and leadership, consultants, engineers, spec writers and contractors.

They hit the perfect mixture of education, product demo, humor and fun throughout the week. Plus who doesn’t love ending a week like this, with hands on experience, including my first (and probably last) attempt with a torch.

It wasn’t hard to recognize that Siplast has that something special and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to attend this summit, deepen some great connections, and explore what they have to offer.
