Insulcel
The Insulcel System combines the unique properties of lightweight insulating concrete and Insulperm premium-expanded polystyrene foam insulation board. The Insulcel mix consists of Insulcel-PB pregenerated cellular foam with a Portland cement/water slurry. The Insulcel mix is appropriate for jobs located in climates that are conducive for proper curing of cellular concrete. Insulcel is placed at a minimum two-inch thickness placed over the top of Insulperm Insulation Board. The Insulcel System utilizes the Zono-Tite Base Sheet Fastener, which has a nominal two-inch length.
- Siplast offers three cellular foam-based lightweight insulating concrete systems: Insulcel, Insulcel RT, and Zonocel.
- Reroofable to help delay or eliminate diversion to landfill.
- Provides fire protection, prevents air infiltration, and bonds the total insulation system to the substrate.
